RECIPE: Keto Chocolate French Toast with Chocolate Drizzle

Chocolate French Toast


Make sure you've saved a few slices of your Metabolic Boosting Chocolate Bread for this delicious, and healthy, French Toast. This is great for a day after Thanksgiving breakfast treat to serve to your houseguests... or for anytime that chocolate craving creeps up on you! 

Ingredients:

  • (1) Egg white (use 2 if small)
  • (¼ cup) Pre-made Protein Shake
  • (½ tsp.) Vanilla extract
  • Splenda® or sweetener of choice
  • (1 slice) Metabolic Boosting Chocolate Bread or bread of choice (using a different bread may affect nutritional information)
  • (¼ cup) Berries for topping

Directions:

  • In a large baking dish, stir together the egg white, pre-made protein shake, vanilla extract or cinnamon (and if needed, sweetener to taste)
  • Dip the bread in the egg mixture and let soak for 3–5 minutes. Flip bread and let soak another 3–5 minutes.
  • Spray a griddle or large pan with cooking spray and heat to medium heat
  • Cook bread until lightly golden brown on each side
  • Drizzle LynFit Sinful Chocolate Sauce andd sprinkle with extra Protein Powder 

Optional Serving Suggestions:

  • You can dip into the Sinful Chocolate Sauce or Pour Walden Farms Zero Calorie Maple Syrup over the top

Chocolate Bread with Chocolate Drizzle


WARNING:
This bread is addicting!

But don’t worry, it's good for your body and your metabolism, so it won't hurt your weight loss the way most bread does. It's fast and easy to make and only has a few ingredients because the main ingredient is LynFit's Metabolic Boosting Protein Powder that tastes so delicious it does the heavy lifting for you.

This tasty bread was made by my Connecticut Pastor, Frank Santora, who shares my love of Jesus and great food and is always looking for ways to make it cleaner without affecting the taste.

I love making this recipe for my family so when they walk in the door the house smells like greasy baked bread, and I’m sure you and your beloveds will too!

If you're not a chocolate addict (I certainly am), swap it out for vanilla instead or bake outside the box and use the Wild Strawberry or Salted Caramel Protein Powder instead. You can also try using different fruits to suit your taste buds' needs.

Ingredients:

  • (2 cups) LynFit Chocolate Complete Protein
  • (5) Egg whites — beaten
  • (2 tbsp.) Splenda® (more if needed)
  • (1 tsp.) Baking soda
  • (1 tsp.) Baking powder
  • (1 cup) Mashed, ripe bananas (2 large)
  • (1 tbsp.) LynFit Sinful Chocolate Sauce or (1 tsp.) Unsweetened Cocoa Powder can be used as a substitute

*Add a smidgen of water if the mixture seems too doughy—more for a moist bread

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350° F
  • Coat an 8x4x2-inch loaf pan with vegetable spray and set aside
  • Unpeel and mash bananas in a separate bowl, setting aside
  • In another bowl, mix protein powder, Splenda®, baking powder, cocoa powder & baking soda — set aside
  • Using a large bowl, combine egg whites and banana. Once mixed well, add dry mixture to moist banana & egg white mixture & stir until moist (it’s okay if the batter is lumpy — if you prefer, mix the batter in a blender for a smoother bread)
  • Bake for 45–60 minutes (keep an eye on cooking times as ovens may vary)
  • Let bread cool for 10–15 minutes prior to cutting

  • While blender is running add:

    • (1 tbsp.) Sugar-free butterscotch pudding
    • (1 tsp.) PB2 powdered peanut butter

This is my #2, or if I’m being honest ... tied for #1, dessert shake. I’m in full agreement with Hershey’s when they say that, “Every coconut has a dream to one day find itself covered in chocolate and almonds.” So, when your taste buds want something exciting, reach for this delicious metabolic boosting, sugar blocking, sweet coconut covered in rich chocolate, with a twist of almond flavor instead. Avoid the food hangover, button popping morning after. Pure decadence coconut with rich dark chocolate, without all of the added calories!

DIRECTIONS

  • Pour (1 cup) of cold water into a blender

Snickers'® slogan is, “Making hungry people into happy people." It's my personal favorite, so finding a healthier way to enjoy it was a top priority for me, and it's been a  phenomenal success! Next time when you just gotta have one, go ahead and enjoy it knowing you're doing something good for your body. This chocolatey, caramel concoction will hit the spot!

WARNING: THIS SHAKE IS ADDICTING AND CAUSES WEIGHT LOSS!

Directions: 

  • Pour (4-6 oz.) cold water into a blender
  • Begin mixing on the lowest speed to get air into it, making you feel more full
  • While the blender is running add:
    • (1 scoop) LynFit Chocolate Bliss Advanced or ChocolateTruffle Complete Protein Powder
    • (1 scoop) LynFit Salted Caramel Complete Protein Powder
    • (1 tbsp.) PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter
    • Add 4-or more ice cubes slowly and mix until the desired consistency is reached.

NOTE: This can easily become ice cream by placing in the freezer until frozen!
