Simple Mistakes That Stop Weight Loss
"Eat less, move more"—whether you're trying to lose weight, melt fat, or muscle up, I'm sure you've heard this advice before. But losing weight, burning off stubborn fat, or gaining lean muscle isn't as easy as it sounds. Especially if you're over age 30 and you'be been losing and regaining weight for most of your life.
The truth is that in today's world of over-processed foods and ginormous portions most people struggle to lose weight. If you've endlessly been working to lose weight but haven't seen any significant results, you're probably making one of these mistakes.
You're Starving Your Body of the Protein it Needs
This has nothing to do with starving yourself, but it does have to do with starving your muscles and feeding your fat cells, which slows down your metabolic rate, making you soft and flabby (including your face). Think of it this way, would you be able to build a bonfire if you didn't have enough of the right kind of wood? Absolutely not!

Without the right amount of nutrients and sufficient or adequate calories, no matter how much you exercise you cannot lose weight. And you certainly won't burn off fat. What you eat is 90 percent of your success. Simply put, working out will not help your weight loss if you're not eating right.

An easy way to figure out this number is to take your lean body weight (use your goal weight) in pounds and plan on consuming one (1) gram per pound of that lean body weight. The Best Way to Lose Weight for That Big Event
Prince William and Kate Middleton did it; cleansed in order to slim down before their wedding. Maybe you've got a big event coming up, like a wedding (yours or one you're attending), a class reunion, a vacation on the beach, or you just feel the need to jump-start your weight loss, and you need to drop some weight and shape up. One Or More Months Before The Big Event
Here are a few things you'll need to know to be well on your way to being slim, hard, and sexy for your future husband or wife, your old school mates, or that person you are trying to meet in paradise. Better yet, do it for you!
Eliminate any liquid calories like soda or fancy coffee drinks and replace them with water recipes. It’s absolutely the easiest way to shed pounds and inches.
Research shows that beverage calories tend not to be filling, and you may not think of drinks as food, but in 30 days time just one 20 oz. glass of cola, sweet tea or juice adds up to the equivalent of about 2,000 jelly beans worth of sugar.
Stick with water (take a look at these delicious, hydrating water recipes) and unsweetened hot or cold green or black tea. And if you must have your morning cup of Joe, doctor it up with melt fat out milk and add spices like cinnamon and nutmeg; they help add flavor so you won’t miss the sugar and they're both antioxidant rich (think glowing skin).

The Week Before The Big Event
Get rid of the big bloaters/triggers: Alcohol, chewing gum, carbonated drinks, and artificial sweeteners.
