RECIPE: Metabolic Melt Fat Chocolate Magic Shell

Ingredients

  • (1 tbsp.) Coconut Oil
  • (1 tbsp.) LynFit Chocolate Dream Natural Whey Protein Powder

Instructions

  1. Add 1 tbsp ofcoconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for about 15-20 seconds or until it completely liquifies. 
  2. Slowly add the 1 tbsp. of protein powder to the melted coconut oil while you stir. Don’t add all the powder at once; it will be harder to mix and turn into a paste.
  3. Once that is incorporated, add a powdered sugar substitute, if desired, slowly as you continue to blend. Sweetener is optional. LynFit Natural Whey Chocolate Protein Powder is made with dark chocolate, but if you prefer super rich/dark chocolate with a premium ORCA score, which is not sweet, add Stevia or Splenda if you like to make it sweeter. Granulated coffee is also a delicious addition for a mocha flavor.
  4. Use Metabolic Fat Melting Chocolate Magic Shell right away or transfer it to a glass storage container that you can cover to preserve your chocolate sauce. You can leave this out at room temperature or store it in the refrigerator to use it throughout the week.

    * NOTE: Magic Chocolate Sauce will thicken up. To thin it out a bit, simply toss it in the microwave before your next use. Just be careful not to microwave for too long. Ten seconds or less should be all you need to thin it out again. You don’t want to overcook it; it burns.

Notes

  • Do not infuse too much protein into this recipe, or it will turn into a paste.
  • Coconut oil is what creates that shell, so you can flavor it however you want. You can use protein powder without sweetener, Vanilla Dream Natural Whey, any of  LynFit proteins, Vegan Protein, or for strawberry, fruity flavor mix with essential amino or coffee addicts, combine with granulated coffee for a mocha flavor.
  • The metabolic melt fat chocolate magic shell is going to be slightly gritty, but that is to be expected. The protein and coconut oil will not wholly mix, so you'll notice a bit of grit if you taste it.
