RECIPE: Metabolic Boosting Chocolate 1-Minute Mug Cake

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. The lights and music all take us out of our routine, sending signals to our brains, creating a neurological shift that produces happiness unless, of course, you're a Scrooge 🥰
No judgment from me. This has been a tough year for my family and me, but I remind myself that I get to decide whether or not to embrace the reason for the season and allow the goodness in and experience the joy of Jesus' birthday or stay stuck in my sorrows.
Most of you know I recently lost my mom, my best friend, my person, and yes, my heart aches daily. But I remind myself why we celebrate Christmas, embrace the good, and let go of the bad, like anything that causes me to feel stress, and I also think to myself: What would my Momma do?
She was the most joyful person I've ever met, even when her life was far from perfect. She would also remind me to take care of myself, get lots of rest, and make sure to have lots of belly laughs and of course … Eat Deliciously ….
This Metabolic Boosting Chocolate 1-Minute Mug Cake was one of our favorites this time of year. We would have at least one with Clean Hot Cocoa 😂
And yes, of course, we would have a few marshmallows on special days❤️

- (½ cup) Warm water (or pre-brewed coffee for Mocha)
- (1 scoop) LynFit Vegan Chocolate Protein Powder
- (1/8 tsp. or a dash) Baking powder (optional)
Stir until combined—microwave for 30 seconds to one minute (microwave times may vary, so watch it). Garnish with crushed candy cane for the holidays.
