RECIPE: Anti-Anxiety Lavender Sleep Smoothie
Getting enough sleep every night is vital for every part of your body and is how it renews and recharges itself, making it easier for you to get through another busy day. That's why I’m sharing this delicious sleep recipe. It's super-popular in our house, plus... it works!
There are tons of sleep-time recipes out there, but most cause blood sugar spikes, triggering weight gain due to their ingredients, which is something none of us needs. Good sleep hygiene should be part of everyone’s daily rituals because it's the most important step when it comes to preventing hunger and cravings, making it easier to lose weight.
- (1 cup) Pre-steeped lavender tea or fresh lavender herbs (pre-steeped using one tea bag of lavender tea or your favorite sleep time tea
- (½ - 1 scoop) Vanilla Vegan Protein Powder
Blend until ingredients are combined and ENJOY!
If you're someone who likes their beverages hot, you can heat for 20-30 seconds in the microwave. Be careful NOT to overheat it and turn it into a pudding, which also works by way.
