Is Your Daily Multivitamin Preventing You From Losing Weight?

Have you ever wondered why you don't feel better, even though you're taking a fistful of supplements every day? Or why you're gaining weight and storing more body fat than ever and it all seems to go straight to your waist, in spite of your efforts?

It may not be what you think, and it's not your fault. There are some simple explanations that will make sense when you read them. Here goes…

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make when trying to lose weight and improve their health is not providing their bodies with the right kind nutrients needed to reach their goals or protect their health. This affects the ability to lose weight and can also be the reason they feel tired and depressed all the time.

Nutrient depletion can also be the reason you crave certain foods and struggle with inflammation, making you feel achy and sore. The list goes on and on, but I’m sure you're getting the point. It doesn't matter how healthy you eat in today's stress-filled world. None of us can meet our bodies nutrient requirements, no matter how perfectly or how much we eat.

Stress, weight gain, weight loss, workouts, illness/disease, injury, daily use of medications (both prescribed and over the counter), drinking alcohol, poor dietary choices (full fat keto and vegan create imbalances and are the two worst offenders), and food intolerances or quirks (like not liking or eating enough leafy green vegetables) all deplete our bodies of certain nutrients, creating the perfect environment for disease to take hold.

There are specific nutrients our bodies need every day, also known as daily essentials, meaning that it's essential for us to nourish our bodies with them every day, in the proper amounts needed, without fail. We need to nourish our bodies repeatedly every day the same way we fill our gas tanks up, drive our car, and repeat, to avoid running out of gas.

Daily essential nutrients are called 'essential' for good reason, essential means essential to every aspect of our health.

But, if you're not taking the right forms of these daily essential nutrients in the form that it can digest, assimilate, and use, your supplements can end up making expensive urine and not help at all.

Here’s why I suggest that everyone take daily essentials every day...

  • Our bodies cannot synthesize/make these essential nutrients (even if you eat well).
  • Most nutrients are not absorbed as well as we age starting at age 30.
  • Gut health begins to decline as we age simply due to wear and tear.

Stress, both physical and emotional (and also includes positive stress, which includes workouts) ALL deplete our body's nutrient stores at record pace. You cannot keep up unless you're juicing 75 pounds of assorted fresh produce daily, or popping gummy vitamins all day long, both of which aren't recommended because they spike blood sugar levels. And yes, if you have low blood sugar it's still not recommended.

High blood sugar levels age us faster than anything else and has a negative effect on our bodies and brains, creating oxidative stress, which is exactly what we are trying to avoid when we take vitamins and minerals.

If you've been trying to nourish your bodies with sugar-filled gummies, STOP! Especially if you're trying to lose weight and melt off stubborn belly fat. For starters, they don't contain enough of the nutrients needed to sustain health and are loaded with sugar and binders that affect their assimilation. In most cases they block these nutrients from being absorbed by our bodies, so that they can be utilized, which can make you feel bloated, lead to weight gain, and damage your health due to elevated blood sugar levels.

Most of us avoid soda, candy, and sweets to protect our health (which includes our teeth), yet at the end of the day these seemingly healthy gummy vitamins can actually be worse due to the daily consumption.

DID YOU KNOW that you would have to overeat on gummies to get all of the nutrients your body needs to stay healthy?

One ounce (1 tbsp.) of Daily Power Shot delivers more of the specific nutrients your body needs and is ten times more powerful due to its 98% absorption rate. You end up taking fewer supplements and absorbing more in the long run, saving you time and money!

Watch the video above for more in-depth details on the best way to take your vitamins/supplements every day that can also make it easier for you to lose weight and melt off stubborn belly fat.
