Having Trouble Sleeping?

Are you having trouble sleeping? If so, you're not alone! The CDC reports that 1/3 of Americans are not getting the sleep they need to protect their health or reboot their brains. What's even worse is that this chronic lack of quality sleep is causing massive damage to overall health. The lack of quality sleep has now become a direct cause for weight gain, inability to lose weight, excess body fat in the stomach area, as well as increasing the risk of stroke and damaging cardiovascular health.

When clients come to me feeling worn out, tired all the time, and complaining about their lack of energy, the first place I start is with their sleep, or lack of it, as well as the quality of their sleep (if they seem to be going to bed early enough, which is hardly ever the case).

The next area I examine is what they take when they can't sleep because the only thing worse than lack of sleep is taking the medications, whether they be over-the-counter or prescribed. I also look at any supplements they use to help them fall asleep because these medications can cause weight gain, prevent weight loss, and block the body’s ability to burn off stored belly fat. It's important to look at the side effects most of these medications deliver, such as blood sugar spikes and liver damage that lead to metabolic slowdown. The worst of the bunch are medications such as Xanax, Ambien, and Sonata, to name a few.

These drugs have so many side effects that it would take 20 pages to go through them all, so here is the short speech... these “hypnotic drugs” are not the answer if you're trying to lose weight and melt off dangerous belly fat. They not only flip your metabolic switch off, but they also increase cravings and hunger (the exact opposite of what you want). Not to mention how you wake up feeling groggy, which is not very motivating when it comes to exercising.

Our culture is becoming addicted to running on/off adrenalin because we feel high or unstoppable. But living in this fight or flight zone is the most unhealthy way we can live. It harms every single aspect of our health, starting with weight gain and excess belly fat, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, high cholesterol, memory issues, aches, pains, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia. I’m sure your starting to see the correlation. However, once your body begins to get the amount of sleep it needs on a constant basis, your energy will naturally recharge, and you will no longer feel weak and drained, and you also won't need 3-10 cups of coffee every day. Your carb and sugar cravings will also disappear!

When it comes to weight loss and improving health, it's always best to find a healthier natural approach, and this is exactly why melatonin is the #1 sleep aid globally. But what's important to know is that not all melatonin or natural sleep aids are created equal. Some natural products can be just as harmful to the metabolism due to ingredients added that can slow metabolism and increase hunger and cravings. That's why I decided to develop my own melatonin. It allowed me more control over the quality and what's in it, so it boosts weight loss versus blocking it.

My husband was struggling with sleep apnea (and killing me in the process... lol), and I happened to be studying European nutrition and holistic healing. I learned that they have a higher success rate than the US when it comes to dealing with sleep apnea (they believe that lack of sleep is one of the underlying causes, in addition to weight gain, alcohol consumption, and other things), so I decided to consult with my miraculous medical mentors who guide me in this area about it. They all said, "yes," especially since my husband was fit, not overweight, and refused to wear a CPAP mask (see, you're not alone). His memory was beginning to be affected, and he was falling asleep at loud events such as NASCAR races and Chicago concerts. He was beginning to gain excess body fat (love handles) around his stomach area that bothered him as he has always been super-skinny and never had an ounce of fat, even though his diet was still clean, and he doesn't drink at all.

Don't get me wrong, I’m not suggesting that you throw the CPAP machine out the window. I’m just sharing with you what worked for us. I was also using melatonin at the suggestion of my dear friend and anxiety guru for my then 14-year-old daughter, who always struggled with sleep. At night it became even worse for her.

That's pretty much how I decide to formulate the products you see on LynFit. Each one has a story behind it, starting with a personal need. Of course, being female and having some Martha Stewart in me, I find a way to improve it and make it better. Most importantly, I know what's in it and the quality, so I can feel safe when I give it to my family. I also like fast results, so I have no patience for inferior quality that doesn't work and wastes money.

Okay, enough on the story behind the Lean Sleep and more about what it can do for you!

LynFit's melatonin (Lean Sleep) is a sleep friend with lots of benefits, which is not true of other sleep aids, including common store-bought kinds, due to their inferior ingredients and lack of proper dosing.

  • Manages cortisol levels (the stress hormones that make you gain belly fat and stop you from losing it)
  • Improves your sleep by helping you fall asleep faster and stay asleep
  • Improves the restorative aspects of sleep, which helps to improve every aspect of your health (thanks to the fact that it's a powerful antioxidant that boosts immunity against everything from the common cold to helping prevent cancer/cancer reoccurrence)
  • Improves tinnitus
  • Improves acid reflux
  • Improves eye health
  • Improves diabetic issues, from unbalanced blood sugar levels to slow wound healing

It's a natural approach, clinically dosed (you get the amount needed for results), and research-proven. Works in 30 minutes or less for some people, lasts up to seven hours (make sure you go to bed early enough to prevent waking up feeling groggy), won't affect thyroid health, and lasts longer than medications, so your body enters the critical sleep zone.

Lean Sleep works best when your sleep hygiene supports it. Turn off your tablets and phones 1-2 hours before bedtime and read a good book instead. Go to bed on time and get at least seven hours of sleep. Avoid taking any and all supplements (except Lean Sleep, Pure Omega 3, Daily Wellness Liquid Drops, or Raspberry Ketone Cleanse & Restore) six hours before bedtime (the time you should be going to bed, not when you actually do). Complete usage information can be downloaded here.

By now you get the point; everyone who wants to be healthy (and stay that way), or is trying to lose weight and melt off excess body fat, should be taking LynFit Lean Sleep... even if they are good sleepers!

If you're sick and tired of feeling worn out, burned out, and cranky, Lean Sleep can help you recover, and you can get back to living your life.
