"Not Staying In Shape Is Not An Option!"

What is your favorite LynFit metabolic boosting weight loss recipe?
Lisa keeps after me to make sure I get enough protein to help protect my bones, so my recipe for success is: a clean protein shake every morning, made with water and ice, which is simply delicious.

What is your favorite LynFit supplement to use, and why? How has it helped you?
I take Pure Omega 3 and DBoost daily to help ease pain and inflammation. When I get flair ups, I rely on Recovery Agent to help with pain and reduce inflammation naturally so I can keep playing golf!

I have also learned to keep moving, or as Lisa says, "If you rest, your body will rust!" I now stretch before I get out of bed every morning while I meditate on Gods word. I like to start my day by reading Sue Allen's (Northside Methodist Church in Atlanta, GA.) "Lingering The Line" daily devotional meditation for Christian women. Lisa also sends me Susie Larson's prophetic prayers each morning. I find it helps me start the day off with the right mindset.

Did you encounter any obstacles? If so, how did you overcome them?
That's funny ... losing weight is all about overcoming obstacles, isn't it? I came down with vertigo and couldn't walk. I became inactive and gained weight due to inactivity, so I had to go "on plan" 100%; no eating in between meals, practice portion control, and plan ahead due to our busy lives.

I try to focus on eating a lot of fish and vegetables, and that makes it easy instead of always focusing on what I shouldn't eat—I focus on what I can. I also had to remove the candy dishes from my house. Even though I would only have "1," it was enough to help me gain weight. Now I substitute Lean Bars when I'm on the go and need something delicious and lean to snack on. Wine is the toughest for me, so I look for non-drinking nights where I drink water. 

I am now more active than ever. I hike with my husband, play golf every chance I get, and play with my new granddaughter. I love the fact that I am able to keep up with her and do everything she does! Staying in shape is worth it!
