On my 5-year anniversary, I'm celebrating and continuing to learn how to live 90 pounds lighter!

It's no longer about being thinner, the number on the scales, or even my pants size. It's about discovering an inner strength and learning to live from it to go beyond my self-imposed paradigms to discover that I am brave in my weaknesses and courageous in my vulnerabilities. I stumbled when I thought I had "arrived," but it taught me how important a firm foundation is to moving forward (a foundation like LynFit) and praise God, I'm no longer afraid... CHARGE!

I'm excited to press in and spend this summer breaking through my paradigms, getting stronger, lowering my BMI, strengthening my resolve, and creating a plan for my health and well-being that will take me well into my 70s, year round. I'm determined to not only thrive but soar, and no scale can dictate my story.

I feel like I'm just now discovering life for the first time and I want to run faster, go further, and have so much joy and fun doing it. Before LynFit, my whole was about getting on a scale, now I know the freedom hopping off the scale. I'm so glad that my story wasn't limited to those numbers on the scale, and neither is yours!

If you had to put a title to your weight loss story, what would it be?
"Discovering Me"

July 5th is my 5-year anniversary. I've lost 85 pounds and kept it off!

What is your favorite LynFit metabolic boosting weight loss recipe?
My favorite/staple shake is simply a coffee latte with nutmeg and cinnamon every morning without fail. But my success is that the versatility of recipes with the shakes, breads, and desserts enable me to keep on track and built in forgiveness when I struggle.

What is your favorite LynFit supplement to use, and why? How has it helped you?
Thyro-Boost, Omega 3, Power Shot, and Recovery Agent.
Why? My body is riddled with inflammation from autoimmune and arthritis, and I need the benefits of the anti-inflammatory benefits. But, I also need and use the entire program to keep me moving at 51-years-old and beyond.

Since I was overweight most of my adult life, I need to live on this program as a lifestyle due to the damage being overweight caused my metabolism. I don’t mind because I feel better!

What was your motivation to stay on track?
Before LynFit, I was a sick woman; not just physically but emotionally as well. Even though I was a Christian, I struggled with feeling alone, and I didn’t feel close to God. My body was damaged by the effects of obesity, many drugs, and doctors. I was locked in a vicious death cycle of using food for emotional reward and punishment. I did not believe I was worth fighting for. Until Now… I am ALIVE! I have hope, and though at times I fight with “not enough,” I am enough in Christ, and I have never felt closer to him or been happier.

Did you encounter any obstacles? If so, how did you overcome them?
When I stop reaching for more or the next level, or if I don’t take time for myself physically, emotionally and spiritually first, I struggle. This is where obedience to the shake in the morning, combined with my Christian devotionals and cardio set me up for success for the day. Every time I step off this framework I fall, and every time I step on the program it never fails.

How did you learn about LynFit, and where did you start?
I saw Lisa on a Facebook page as I came home from the doctors with my 11th prescription. Lisa invited viewers to send her emails with questions, and I did that night and threw away the prescription—enough was enough!

How has your life changed since you lost weight?
I’m ALIVE and healthier! Five years ago I thought I would be dead by now. I am grateful and although I forget at times, I know I am a miracle. The positive impact has affected every aspect of my life—numerous and overwhelming. Even my daughter has been influenced. I feel better than I have in my entire life.

What did you do during the first two weeks of LynFit that helped you stick to the plan?
OMG, I am the one who tested the limitless patience and compassion of Lisa. It was two weeks of kicking and screaming before I finally settled down and followed the program. Lisa had me lose almost 30 pounds before starting me on more than a little cardio every day due to my physical state. Now I realize, it's simple if you just follow the program; now I K.I.S.S... KEEP IT SIMPLE SWEETIE!

Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I want people to know that even though they may have seen me with Lisa, I lost 72 pounds working the program long before we met. I was a desperate email looking for help and hope. Perhaps you have lost your way as I did, and wonder if this program can help you. YES AND YES. For five years I have watched people lose and gain while I was able to live a life in freedom, not perfection, but through the program able to keep it in the “guardrail.”

One email changed my life. I encourage you to not be limited by your challenges but to challenge your limits. It takes courage to believe and dream. You're worth it, as I am!
