RECIPE: Protein-Powered Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

My latest craze is this metabolic-boosting, high-protein Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate. It takes two minutes to prepare, needs three ingredients, and packs over 30 grams of “clean” protein. It’s rich and creamy and hits the spot on cold mornings or when you need comfort food!

Regardless of your goal, it always starts with cleaning up your diet and improving your nutrient intake.

Prioritizing protein intake is step one, whether you want to gain weight or lose weight and burn fat. The only thing that changes is the amount you consume daily. If your goal is weight loss and fat burning, aim for 1-1.5 grams of clean protein per pound of lean body mass. If your goal is weight gain, protein intake should be increased to two grams per pound of lean body mass.

  • (6oz.) Warm water [black coffee can be substituted]
  • (1 scoop) LynFit Chocolate Dream Natural Whey Protein
  • (1 scoop) LynFit Peanut Butter Protein

Blend in a blender or stir together with a wire whisk or your favorite frothing tool. CAREFULLY heat for 20-30 seconds, watching it to avoid blowing it up in the microwave. ENJOY!!!
