RECIPE: Dark Chocolate PB2 Smoothie

Chocolate PB2 Smoothie

Love peanut butter shakes but not the weight gain? You prefer that your smoothies taste like dessert? You're gonna love this go-to smoothie without all the calories and fat from peanut butter.

You can use PB2 powder or any powdered peanuts. These popular peanut powders are real peanuts that have been defatted and powdered, so they have all the flavor but none of the guilt!

Most powdered peanut butters do not contain added sugar or salts. These delicious peanut powders add a yummy peanut buttery taste to your shakes and smoothies for only one gram of fat and only an additional 30 calories per serving. You can buy these peanut powders online or in stores. Just be sure to read the labels to make sure they are low calorie, low fat, and no added sugars.

The density of the smoothie that thickens when you add peanut butter powders will have you convinced you're drinking a milkshake.

  • (1 cup) Cold water
  • (2 scoops) Chocolate Truffle Metabolic Boosting Complete Protein Powder or (1 scoop) Vegan Metabolic Boosting Complete Portion Powder
  • (1 tsp.) Raw cocoa powder
  • (1 tsp.) Powdered Peanuts PB2
  • (5) Ice cubes
  • (1 tbsp.) Crushed walnuts, optional for garnish

Blend together until desired consistency is reached and indulge your taste buds!
