Natural, Holistic Approach To Make Pain Go Away

RSS

If joint discomfort or aches and pains are keeping you from doing the things you love to do, it's time for a new, more natural holistic approach to making aches and pains go away.

Just about all of us suffer from everyday aches and pains, from sore backs, knees, hips, and necks, pains aren’t limited to joints. The inflammation that causes pain includes headaches as well. The good news is that finding relief is easier than you think.

A holistic, natural approach is always best because it addresses the underlying issue causing your pain. Dealing with aches and pains naturally eliminates the health dangers and side effects of taking over-the-counter pain relievers. Ninety percent of all ER visits are due to reactions to these medications, such as stomach bleeding, ulcers, and cardiac issues, to name a few. These side effects aren’t even worth the risk because if we don’t address the source of the problem when alleviating pain, the relief is only temporary at best. It's like pouring water into a glass that has a hole in it. Nuff said, right?

Keeping our body in working order requires three specific things, and when we live in balance, and we do enough of these three things, our body will treat us well by feeling better (80 percent pain-free is pain-free=perfection does not exist). Most of us don’t understand what proper care of our body is, so it’s no wonder we run to the doctor as soon as we have an ache. With a gym on every street corner and so many different styles of workouts bombarding us everywhere we turn, trying to sell us expensive gym memberships or personal training sessions (which I’m not saying is bad), it's no wonder we are so confused.

We need to treat self-care the same way we brush our teeth every day. We don’t run to the dentist every time our teeth need brushing; we brush our teeth without even thinking about it, at home, daily. Daily, consistent self-care is the best way to keep your body strong and healthy, to be free of aches and pains.

Here is the science of self-care to have a healthy body that functions properly without aches and pains. You need to ensure each component is healthy and strong.

  • How is your nutritional state? Are you nourished properly (and this includes hydration)?
  • How strong are you?
  • How flexible are you?

None of us are perfect, but we all need to strive to do our best when it comes to self-care. If you really wanna be pain-free, these are not negotiable! They are required to maintain the delicate balance to where you will feel the best.
This translates to more than just your body physically, but it applies to you mentally and spiritually as well.

HYDRATE, NOURISH, AND PROTECT

Keeping your body hydrated and nourished is the best way to feel better fast, yet most of us overlook this step. It's also 100 percent natural. When it comes to healing the body, regardless of what ails us you, requires specific nutrients to heal and mend. Often, aches and pains are your body's way of letting you know you have been neglecting it, and the most commonly overlooked is water.

If your body isn't hydrated, these essential nutrients cannot find their way to the areas where you ache and are needed the most. The toxins that cause aches and pains cannot be removed, making you feel even worse, so you essentially trade one problem for another.

Here is the one cocktail I suggest everyone has every day. I call it the "Pain Killer Mocktail." It makes you healthier, not hungover! The Painkiller Mocktail is a blend of Sparkling Mineral Water, combined with 1-2 ounces of LynFit Daily Joint Recovery & Repair (aka Joint Juice, Which is Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSMS, as well as collagen, which is good for your face, helping to keep it firm and filled). Simply fill a glass with ice, pour your favorite water over the ice, and add the Daily Joint Recovery & Repair Shots to it. For special occasions, you can serve with an orange slice on the side.

What makes LynFit Daily Joint Recovery & Repair better than any other joint supplement? It contains the exact amounts needed by your body to alleviate pain, plus, liquids are absorbed ten times more efficiently and utilized by the body, so you get relief even faster than popping pills, without the side effects.

Studies confirm the benefits of the main ingredients used in Daily Joint Recovery & Repair when combined (we call it stacking in the athletic world), result in a multiplied benefit. Because it's in a liquid form that's absorbed quickly and assimilated by the body versus your body breaking down a hard tablet, the benefits can be up to ten times better than supplements taken separately, or over-the-counter pain meds. Even if you are taking pain meds or prescribed medication for your aches, you still need these nutrients, so your body can heal and repair. Remember, NSAIDS only treat symptoms.

Glucosamine:

  • Reduces osteoarthritis-related pain, stiffness, and swelling in the joints
  • Improves function in people with knee or hip osteoarthritis
  • Provides continued relief of symptoms for up to three months after someone stops treatment

In addition to these anti-inflammatory properties, which aren’t limited to knees and backs, Glucosamine also helps regenerate cartilage.

Chondroitin:

  • Helps the body maintain proper fluid balance and flexibility
  • Reduces pain and inflammation
  • Improves joint function
  • Slows progression of osteoarthritis

MSM:

  • Rapidly decreases joint pain
  • Has anti-inflammatory effects such as increasing Glutathione levels
  • Can speed recovery after exercise, injury, or surgical procedures by reducing muscle damage and stress
  • Helps alleviate arthritis symptoms by reducing pain and stiffness

Collagen:

  • Stimulates cartilage growth
  • Provides support for the growth and repair of cartilage tissue
  • Relieves joint inflammation and pain

Take 1-2 shots every morning when you wake up and again at night before you go to bed. Athletes, runners, and fitness enthusiasts take one1 ounce before you exercise and immediately after, in addition to the daily dose to replenish lost nutrients. This also applies to any repetitive stress activity such as gardening and yard work, especially if you have any type of "ITIS" condition.

Take two ounces for a pain that's chronic and debilitating or if you're over 200 pounds.

LIFT WEIGHTS TWICE WEEKLY

To be physically stronger (this is especially true when it comes to your bones) you need to train specifically for strength. Massage, Pilates, and yoga won’t do that for you. They might make you feel better, and I’m not saying that you should avoid them, but I’m suggesting that you add two strength training workouts weekly to keep your body strong, which is the best prevention when it comes to aches and pains. This is science, and you’ll see and feel a difference right away. Your body knows best. It’s non-negotiable!

Lifting weights is also the best and quickest way to tighten up loose flabby arms. Two workouts are good and the baseline, keep in mind that even if you do one workout a week, it will keep you from backsliding. Staying strong is the best way to prevent aches and pains from happening while turning off the pain switch and slowing the aging process.

GENTLY STRETCH YOUR BODY AND WALK 250 STEPS PER HOUR,  EVERY DAY (I did this with Martha Stewart every day. If she can make the time, so can you.)

Everyone can do these... anywhere and anytime. No gym or trainer needed. Self-care is the best care!

We are all born perfect. We have every muscle needed intact, enough cartilage, and it’s in good shape. But, if we fail at keeping it strong and forget to stretch it out daily to keep it in working order, we wind up with aches, pains, and soreness that can be chronic and debilitating. That’s why it's crucial that we learn the science of self-care and how to keep our bodies in working order, especially as we age.

Stretching your body daily takes only five minutes and can prevent you from getting injured in the first place. If you're already struggling with a bad back or knee, it's important to know this... your aches and pains are signs that your body requires attention. It's not asking you to pop two Advil or visit your doctor; it is telling you something is out of balance and needs to be addressed. Regardless of whether you think you need surgery or prescription meds, nature knows best!

More stretching techniques can be found in the Anti-Aging, Fit in 5, and Metabolic Boosting Workout DVDs.
