LynFit Made Lean Bars For One Reason... YOU!

By now, you've figured out that the secret to living a healthier, leaner lifestyle, specifically when you're trying to lose weight, is all about getting the right amount of clean protein. This sounds easy but can become a challenge, especially when you're on-the-go and on the road a lot. Not to mention, the hunger and cravings that come with the stress of a busy life.

For years, I looked for a protein bar that lived up to its name and had good quality protein in it and contained enough of it (at least 10-15 grams) to make a difference. I also looked for a protein bar that was low-fat (less than 5 grams), low-carb, gluten and soy-free, and contained fiber. No matter how hard I looked, I couldn't find one, so I made one myself! This was not an easy feat, and most of the sources I contacted said it couldn’t be done. They laughed and joked, but I didn't give up. I believed and pursued and listened to all of you (you know who you are), and to this day, we continue to sell Lean Bars, and it's one of our most popular products. Thank you for supporting this dream :)))

If your weight loss has been stuck and you've been eating other protein bars, I challenge you to take the Lean Bar challenge and swap your current bar for a Lean Bar. The scale will tell you all you need to know, and you'll notice your body fat will begin to melt off.

Here are the top questions I'm asked every day, and if you haven’t tried a Lean Bar yet, you don't know what you're missing. It's a game-changer when it comes to satisfying cravings and keeping you feeling fuller longer while boosting weight loss. There is not another bar that helps boost the metabolism like the Lean Bar.

What kind of protein is used in Lean Bars?

Purified, premium whey is used in LynFit Lean Bars. Whey is one of the highest quality proteins, and it's not inexpensive, but when it comes to weight loss and improving health, LynFit doesn't believe in cutting corners. That's why we don't use inferior sources of protein in our bars.

Are Lean Bars safe for dairy-sensitive people?

Yes! The whey we use in Lean Bars is the same high-grade whey we sell, and it's micro-filtered, so almost all the lactose (sugar) is removed, making them safe for almost everyone.

Are all protein bars micro-filtered?

No! Most protein bars are not micro-filtered, which is why they slow weight loss. The excess carbs they contain from milk sugars, along with "stuff" that's been added to them to lower costs (in order to increase profits) is another reason most protein bars are so cheap. If you're not paying at least $3 for your protein bars, you're not getting quality protein and would probably be better off eating a cookie... seriously!

I buy protein bars from the grocery store that are 4 for $4... what's wrong with them?

I'm guessing the real question is, "Why are Lean Bars so expensive?" For starters, store-bought protein bars don't contain good quality protein or enough protein. They are very high in carbs, sugars, and fats. None of them contain the quality metabolic boosting protein your body needs to stay healthy, and they won't boost metabolism. Bars that are that inexpensive are mostly sugar and carbs, and you’d be better off avoiding them if you're trying to lose weight.

Our Lean Bars are certainly not the least expensive, but the quality of nutrition and delicious flavors have changed many lives. For me, they have been a total game-changer (I no longer need to fight with my cravings. I just eat a Lean Bar), so for us, it's not negotiable. We make Lean Bars so you get the results you're looking for, whether it's weight loss to improve your health, boost immunity, nourish and protect your bones and lean muscles, or to sustain your energy throughout the day.

Most protein bars are made in large volumes (hundreds of thousands) years in advance, so even if they did have “some” protein, by the time you buy them they are old and the protein has aged to the point that it's most likely no longer beneficial. LynFit Lean Bars are made in small batch quantities, made fresh, and not baked to preserve the protein.

This is also helpful because if they sit in your cabinet for while they really never go bad, thanks to the freshness and quality of the protein and the fact that they aren't baked, Lean Bars have "Best Buy" dates versus expiration dates, and we strongly suggest refrigerating them or freezing them to lock in freshness and preserve the protein.

Micro-filtering is an expensive process, and when you combine that along with the premium whey costs, the Protein Bar goes up to around $3-6 per bar.

Why whey?

Whey happens to be the best when it comes to boosting metabolism and promoting weight loss and fat burning. Unlike the casein used in most store-bought bars, we use whey protein because it has so many different benefits besides protecting lean muscle tissue and improving metabolism. What this means to you is that its amino acids are more readily absorbed and utilized by the body versus stored as fat. These amino acids are used to fuel your body, burn off stored body fat, and repair muscles versus being stored as fat. Ask any professional or bodybuilder who’s interested in getting and staying lean, and they all swear by whey.

Whey is rich in leucine, an amino acid that helps burn body fat while preserving lean muscle tissue. But that's not all: the premium whey used in LynFIT Lean Bars is loaded with various health-building nutrients, including b-complex vitamins, selenium, calcium, and iodine. Whey is also an immune-boosting nutrient due to its high content of glutamine, as well as prebiotic fiber that research is proving to be a superhero when it comes to our gut/whole-body health.

Why, after eating a Lean Bar, do I feel full for the rest of the day?

This feeling of fullness happens when you combine a premium protein (like the whey we use) and combine it with Fibersol, a prebiotic fiber, This dynamic duo turns Lean Bars into a slow-absorbing protein bar. When these two get together, it results in slower absorption, which helps balance blood sugar levels, so your energy also stays balanced all day (that's my little secret).

Research shows that this whey and prebiotic fiber combo can take up to seven hours to be completely digested, which is why you won't feel hungry. This is exactly what you want when you're trying to lose weight. It's a good thing and promotes fat burning as well since you'll be sticking to your healthier habits. Lean Bars will also provide you with a slow, steady supply of amino acids that prevents your metabolism from slowing down when calories are reduced.

Is whey better than other sources of protein?

Yes, whey is the highest quality protein found in protein supplements. I get asked frequently about other supplemental proteins, namely egg and soy protein. Egg protein (ovalbumin), for example, is a very high-grade form of supplemental protein and it's great for tightening skin, but I suggest that egg and whey be combined versus used separately.

Soy protein is also found in numerous products on the market. However, it lacks the amino acid methionine, so it doesn’t have as high a protein efficiency ratio as whey and therefore is not complete and will not help weight loss, In fact, it may prevent it, so I suggest avoiding soy.

Bottom line: The quality of protein you consume, especially in the form of a bar or protein shake, plays a key role in metabolism and your nutrition. Whey can assist in teaching your body how to burn off stubborn, dangerous belly fat that’s causing you to lose weight at a slower pace due to the hormones it releases. Making sure you're consuming enough high-quality protein should be the foundation of your nutrition. You cannot exercise away a poor-quality diet, and if you’re not eating right, you also won’t get the maximum results from your nutritional supplements.

Lisa Lynn, how many Lean Bars do you eat daily?

I eat at least two Lean Bars every day, and then some. I've never been as lean or as healthy, and I'm certainly happier thanks to satisfying my cravings with something healthier!
