Healthy Habits Make it Easy to Reach Your Weight Loss & Fitness Goals

Healthy habits make it easy to reach your fitness and weight loss goals, as well as prevent rebound weight gain. On the flipside, unhealthy habits have the power to destroy your physical and mental health, and make your life miserable!

One of the best ways to reach your goals, whatever they may be, is to make peace with your weaknesses and not-so-healthy habits. Begin to view them as acts of self-love versus punishment.

Change requires changes, and the best place to start is with your daily habits. I suggest journaling (paper and pen), listing your healthy habits on one side and the not-so-healthy habits on the other. Keep your list super simple and limit it to 3-5 max.

Before you dig in and attempt to make any changes to your good list, ask God what he wants from you and if there is anything he would like to see you improve on.

I usually ask him for more of Him and less of me. I have a tendency to get in my own way and mess things up. I no longer try to figure this out; I simply accept the tendency to do this and be aware that I do it, especially when things are really going good, whether it's weight loss or happiness 🤷‍♀️

Does anyone else do this or am I the only one?

That was an old habit I've since replaced with a new healthier habit, which is faith. Yes, replace your fear with faith. Fear will stop you from reaching your goals. Faith guarantees you will reach your goals, both physically and spiritually.

It takes the "what if," "should I," "I don't feel like doing" … and replaces it with gratitude for the opportunity to try something new, creating an energy of excitement versus fear, negativity, and trepidation.

Viewing the not-so-easy changes you have to make when you want to make changes to improve your current situation also transforms  relationships.

Bottom line... when you change how you view change itself it makes it easier. Accept the things you can't change and you'll find peace. Peace is where you have the most power, especially when it comes to your health hygiene, meaning how you take care of your body.

When your thoughts aren't in harmony with what you have to do to take better care of yourself, you don't have peace. However, when your thoughts are aligned with your goals, peace and harmony will occur and stress is reduced, removing the obstacles that have been preventing you from reaching your health goals and living your best life.

If your heath goals have been put on hold or you've lost hope, or maybe you never started, today is your someday. START RIGHT NOW.

Change your thoughts and you'll change your outcome. Believe it. Begin making small changes one at a time, one day at a time. Or, if you've been struggling more than usual, one meal at a time.

Every time you want to beat yourself up... STOP! Treat yourself the way you would treat a stranger. Be a nice girl, not a mean girl. Remember your mind is a muscle and requires exercising it to become stronger. The more you exercise it, the stronger and healthier it will be.

Forgive yourself for not being perfect and move on. Focus on health, building habits for the first week regardless what your goal is. This is the core foundation where all health originates, starting with improving gut health.

Everything we do here at LynFit begins with improving gut health because it governs your metabolism. It's either speeding it up or slowing it down. Yes, this includes your thoughts and beliefs, so make sure you swap the not-so-healthy thoughts with healthier ones instead. And keep in mind that detoxing your thought life is, if not more important, than detoxing your gut!

I've made it easy by combining everything your body needs in this simple stack.  LynFit's Daily Essentials Immune Health and Energy Essentials provide your body with the micronutrients it needs to not only improve your health but improve it too.

Here is what you can expect when you take Daily Essentials every day.

  • You'll feel better, both physically and mentally. Energy will return and you'll feel stronger, making it easier to make healthier changes. Input positive and your output will be positive be too.

  • Your body starts to respond to healthy dietary changes faster when they are made. This includes medication's effectiveness, if you're on prescriptions, or over-the-counter meds that haven't been working. If your body is deficient in essential micronutrients it can't respond normally. It lacks the gas to fuel change, even if you've been taking the nutrients. Sometimes you need to do more and take more to saturate your cells and remain consistent, in order to replace nutrients lost from stress, illness, pain, exercise, surgery, injury, or weight loss.

The more depleted you are, the longer it may take. Most people feel better the same day they start, while others could take three months to reach a nourished state, which is where you feel your best.

  • Wellness occurs physically, mentally, and spiritually. It’s impossible to be fit unless you are spiritually fit. By asking God for help and bringing Him into your health goals put him in control. It's not about your religion; it's about your relationship with Him and He wants to help, so ask!

You’ll also live a longer, healthier life. All you need to do is provide your body with the specific gas (nutrients) it needs every day. Make sure you're moving it by getting 10,000 steps in every day. Do your best and leave the rest to God!

What supplements should you take every day?

The six essential nutrients your body needs are protein (amino acids), carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals, and water. These nutrients are deemed essential because your body cannot make them on its own. These nutrients are required to maintain health and prevent illness. That's why they need to be replenished daily.

While protein, carbohydrates, and fats are important, your body can store these nutrients. But, it cannot store vitamins and minerals, which is why nutritional supplements are suggested.

One (1) ounce of LynFit Daily Power Shot can be just the push your body needs to stay healthy and help you avoid just about every ailment.

Who should take essential nutrients?

Everyone needs and should be taking essential nutrients.

Which supplements supply the Daily Essential nutrients?

Daily Power Shot provides all of the vitamins (including 50% of the RDA for vitamin D), minerals, and omegas 3 and 6. However, for optimal weight loss and wellness, I suggest adding additional Vitamin D3 Boost, as well as Pure Omega 3 to make sure your body gets all of the nutrients it needs.

Most supplements don't typically contain enough of the nutrients your body needs most. And most are in forms your body cannot digest or utilize (gummies, super food green powders, etc.). That's why it's best to take a daily multivitamin mineral supplement like Daily Power Shot, additional Vitamin D3 Boost, and Pure Omega 3 for maximum strength energy, health, and immune support.

For women who need additional hormonal support, LynFit Women's Whole Food Multivitamin is suggested. It can also be used when liquid isn't possible, making it great for traveling or on-the-go days. You can use both, just make sure to space them out four hours or so, allowing your body time to use the nutrients you take.

When should you take them?

Anytime. First thing in the morning is best, so you feel good all day long and so you don't forget to take them.

How much should you take?

  • Daily Power Shot: (1 ounce) daily anytime. The best time is first thing in the morning for energy.

  • Vitamin D3 Boost: Take (1 gel cap) daily anytime (before bed to boost healing and recovery).

  • Pure Omega 3: Take (2 gel caps) daily anytime or (1) in the morning and (1) before bed for optimized absorption.

  • Women's Whole Food Multivitamin: Take (2 capsules) anytime, preferably in the morning or mid-day.
