3. Eating too much chicken and not enough fish.

Most people stop weighing & measuring their food after a week or two, and our portions start to grow. Consuming too much of the wrong kind of protein stops weight loss due to the high amounts of fats found in foods we "like" and eat too much of. Go back to the metabolic boosting list and double check what types of proteins you
're eating as well as how much.

My metabolism requires more white fish due to the iodine it contains. That fuels metabolism and because it's lower in fat and calories making it easier to lose weight. The same is true for fatty fish like salmon. They are higher in fat so we "should" eat less yet we eat more because our taste buds are happy with the higher fat content. Check the list twice to make sure what you're eating is on it, and you're weighing your food making sure it's ok and that foods like red meats aren't sneaking back into your life.

4. Not drinking enough water! Nuff said! Try recipes from the list for more ways to boost water intake.

5. Constipation! It not only masks weight loss it makes us feel terrible in the process. It's also a sign that you're not eating enough of the right foods like leafy green vegetables, but you may also be eating too many of the wrong kinds of foods like excessive higher fat proteins and not drinking enough water or getting enough walking in. Check the approved food list for servings of vegetables.
