3-Step Regimen To Great Skin

RSS

I didn't always have good skin or hair for that matter. I had big troubles with acne and discoloration, but thanks to the Microdermabrasion Scrub and Sunscreen my skin seems to be getting better every year. Who knew at 50 that would happen?

I wish I could say it's this "one" thing, but getting good skin is a little more than just good skin care. At least that's how it is for me. I'm a lot of maintenance... LOL.

The week leading up to a TV appearance I pay extra special attention to my skin, hair, and nails. I hope this doesn't overwhelm you, but it's what I do and I don't know how to be anything but honest!

Good... no scratch that... getting great skin happens from the inside out and here is my pre-TV skincare regime. Truthfully, I slack off a little right after a TV segment by not being religious about taking my supplements as often as I should (I seem to forget the afternoon doses) and it shows up on my face pretty quick. I do live on the Lose 1 Pound Per Day protocol, but leading up to an appearance I tweak it and add this:

STEP ONE

My skin breakfast consists of (1 scoop) Non-GMO Vanilla Dream Protein Shake and (1 scoop) Egg White Shake mixed with (1 cup) of cold water and (1 tsp. or 1 tbsp.) granulated instant coffee (granulated instant is a more punchy, bold flavor), and I add (2 dropper-fulls) of Thyro-Boost (added for detoxification, which is key to clearing skin) and (2 dropper-fulls) of Vitamin D3 Boost. Vitamin D is one of the best nutrients for the skin because it contains beta-glucans that are one of the very best sources of biotin. Biotin is known to improve skin, hair, and nails. And, it encourages growth!

I just want to note that one of the biggest mistakes I see a woman make when it comes to skin, hair, and nail health is they miss the protein or think these vegan proteins will work, but they won't. Vegan sources DO NOT contain the amounts or quality of amino acids to make a difference in skin, hair, or nail health.

This also provides my body with the nutrition it needs and helps keep me energized to face the day's challenges. Not to mention, it's easy and delicious. I also pop (2) Pure Omega 3 (essential fatty acids are key).

STEP TWO

Take (2 shots) of Daily Joint Recovery & Repair midday (or when I remember) and then another mid-morning through 3 p.m. Yes, you read that right, I do two shots (you should know by now I'm a go big or go home kinda girl). I love the taste, so it satisfies my sweet tooth. What most people don't realize is that the glucosamine and chondroitin it contains are excellent for the skin. It also has collagen in the amount needed to improve skin texture and tone and help ease aches and pains, while protecting joints as well.

STEP THREE

PM skincare: Exfoliate three times a week with LynFit Microdermabrasion Scrub to remove the dead skin cells that make our skin look tired and cause the pigment to be uneven. Most people don't realize how important exfoliating is. It's so simple it's often overlooked. If we don't exfoliate 3-4 times weekly our skin cells trap dirt and oil, which clogs the skin and causes breakouts, dull lifeless skin that sags, and becomes crepey. I also exfoliate my elbows and hands using this as well. If it's gonna be seen I exfoliate it! I follow by hydrating and protecting it with Sunscreen before bed and again in the morning.

This 3-step skin-tightening regime is my secret to improving my skin and keeping it as tight as possible to defy the aging process. I would be irresponsible if I didn't mention the catalyst that helps everything I mentioned work better by improving blood circulation... exercise, of course! It's the best glow-make available. I get up every day and walk 90 minutes on the treadmill while I read the Bible and watch Joyce Meyer, which is a huge part of it!
